Students succeed in EPQ
Mulberry Academy Shoreditch students have achieved outstanding results in their Extended Project Qualifications (EPQs) – a remarkable 50 per cent demonstrated their dedication and academic excellence with top grades of A* or A.
One high achiever, Amina Begum, impressed everyone with her innovative project: ‘The importance of how a user-centred approach to designing video game controllers can make the media more accessible to those with hand mobility issues’. Amina compiled a 5,000-word report, delivered a presentation to staff and students, and used CAD software to model her proposed design for an accessible controller.
This year’s Cohort 4 started their EPQ projects earlier this term with a launch event at Mulberry Academy Shoreditch, which leads the programme for our schools.
