Summer work experience with Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix Ltd
In July, we were so excited that 12 Mulberry STEM Academy Sixth Form students embarked on a week long residential work experience placement at Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix Ltd (MGP).
Students from across the Trust schools experienced a programme that consisted of a question and answer session with Toto Wolff, a Microsoft Teams meet with Sir Lewis Hamilton, meetings with the Technical Director and the Chief Operating Officer at MGP, alongside spending most of the week working in their retrospective departments. The students were placed in departments that included car build, IT, design and composites. The work experience placement was phenomenal. During the evenings, the Mulberry STEM Academy team went out for dinner. It was also great welcoming the second group that attended in the final week of term.
