In February 2021, Mulberry School for Girls was selected by the Department for Education to become one of 87 Teaching School Hubs in the country, in recognition of our longstanding commitment to excellence in teacher professional development.
Launched in September 2021 and led by Mulberry School for Girls, the East London Teaching School Hub serves all schools across Hackney and Tower Hamlets. Our mission is to ensure that every teacher in the region has access to high-quality, relevant and research-informed professional development.
Drawing on the deep expertise, passion and collaborative strength of schools and partners across both boroughs, the Teaching School Hub delivers world-class programmes for teachers and leaders at every stage of their careers. This equips educators with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to make a transformative difference for every student in East London.
