Mulberry Schools Trust plays a role in supporting the wider education system and empowering young people on a global stage. We are committed to sharing expertise, supporting other schools and collaborating with partners who share our values.
The Trust works closely with schools facing challenging circumstances to provide support that helps them to achieve sustainable improvement. We have previously done this through the DfE’s Trust and School Improvement offer and, more recently, the RISE (Regional Improvement in Standards and Excellence) programme. Through this work, we have a positive impact beyond our own schools, building leadership capacity and driving forward sustainable improvement that benefits pupils and communities.
We also contribute extensively to research, professional development and knowledge-sharing. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, the Trust helped establish and lead Reconnect London, a collaborative network which brought together London schools to share expertise and practical support. The Trust also contributed to the government’s Curriculum and Assessment Review, with the CEO being part of the independent panel who undertook the review.
Our influence reaches globally through the Global Girl Leading programme, which empowers young women to create change locally, nationally, and internationally. Each year, the Global Girl Leading Summit brings together students from partner schools to participate in workshops, debates, and leadership activities. By celebrating the voices and ambitions of girls, the programme inspires them to become values-led leaders and changemakers.
Through these initiatives, Mulberry Schools Trust demonstrates its commitment to achieving excellence for all. By supporting other schools, developing leaders and inspiring communities locally and globally, the Trust makes a lasting, positive impact on education both within and beyond its own schools.
