Programmes and partnerships

Parents and community

The Mulberry Schools Trust is rooted in the communities we serve across London and East Sussex, and our work is shaped by close partnership with local schools, families and organisations. We believe that children thrive when schools and families work together in partnership. We are committed to building strong, collaborative relationships that support learning across the communities in which we work.

At our dedicated community hub in London, the Mulberry and Bigland Green Centre, we offer a wide range of community and family learning programmes, from English language and digital skills to creative and wellbeing activities. We also support parents preparing to enter or return to employment. We also run a rich programme of educational and cultural visits for families, and are committed to helping parents to meet, build social networks and engage with the life of the Trust across both regions.

Our schools seek parent voice regularly through forums and ongoing dialogue, helping us understand what is working well and where we can strengthen our practice. Feedback is central to our approach, driving progress in the classroom and supporting the development of our relationships with parents and the wider community.
