At the Mulberry Schools Trust, we believe that great professional development strengthens the experience of every student. We want all colleagues – teachers, associate support staff and leaders – to feel supported as they grow their skills and build fulfilling careers with us.
We offer high-quality training at every stage, from initial teacher training through to leadership development and specialist programmes for support staff. Our approach brings together the best of our Trust-wide expertise with opportunities to learn, collaborate and take on new challenges.
The East London Teaching School Hub (ELTSH) plays a key role in this offer, supporting thousands of teachers and leaders across east London and beyond. It provides training for every career stage, including the Early Career Teacher Entitlement and the National Professional Qualifications, with opportunities for staff to contribute to facilitating courses.
Through the Mulberry College of Teaching, our accredited Initial Teacher Training provider, we award Qualified Teacher Status and deliver a PGCE in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. Trainees complete placements within our school communities and have clear pathways to develop their careers locally.
