What’s available for me in 2025–2026?
Whether you’re keen to explore roles in secondary schools or primary settings, we can help.
Secondary
Mulberry College of Teaching (MCoT), our accredited ITE provider specialising in secondary English, offers a dedicated secondary initial teacher training route – a full-time, one-year, fee-funded programme for postgraduates, awarding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
Salaried routes for secondary
Occasionally, individual secondary schools in the Trust will advertise for salaried initial teacher training routes that are accredited by different ITT providers. This means you will be employed by the school as an unqualified teacher while training to teach. These vacancies are managed by each school.
To find out what is currently available, visit https://www.gov.uk/find-postgraduate-teacher-training-courses and search by the Trust school name or postcode.
Primary phase
East London Teaching School Hub, led by the Mulberry Schools Trust, works with a range of local primary phase initial teacher training providers.
Trust schools also partner with a range of local ITT providers to provide school placements for other secondary subjects.
I am very grateful for my teacher training at Mulberry. Every day comes with new experiences, new memories and further professional development"
