Mulberry Schools Trust is a great place to work and grow. We are committed to outstanding achievement for all – including our staff.
Who we are
Founded in 2017, the Mulberry Schools Trust is a flourishing multi-academy trust serving diverse communities across London and the South East. We provide a state-funded, non-selective education that is academically rigorous, personally enriching and socially just.
We are committed to providing an outstanding education for all children and young people in our care. We are extremely proud of our family of schools, spanning nursery, primary, secondary, a University Technical College, a family and community learning centre and our Alternative Provision opening in 2028.
A Mulberry education
At the Mulberry Schools Trust, we believe that access to education is a human right. It is premised on three under-pinning principles:
- Access to education and the chance to be educated is a human right in a civilised world.
- Education should provide rich intellectual and personal development for individuals and communities of people.
- Education is a public good.
These principles are the starting point for everything we do, including the work of our schools, our governors and trustees, school staff and senior leaders within the Trust. Each of our schools shares a common purpose: support student wellbeing and nurture ambition, creativity and self-determination.
Teaching, supporting, leading — every role matters at Mulberry
The Mulberry Schools Trust places great value on supporting teachers, associate support staff and leaders at every stage of their careers
From Initial Teacher Training to Early Career Teaching, middle and senior leadership through to Trust-wide Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and training for support staff and senior leaders, we provide exceptional professional development to ensure our workforce thrives in a diverse, inclusive environment.
The East London Teaching School Hub (ELTSH) has supported the professional development of over 2,800 teachers and leaders across east London and beyond to date. The ELTSH provides training for every career stage, including the Early Career Teacher Entitlement and the National Professional Qualifications. It also offers the opportunity for staff to get involved in leading and facilitating our courses.
Through the Mulberry College of Teaching, our accredited Initial Teacher Training Provision, we award Qualified Teacher Status and partner with Sheffield Hallam University to award a PGCE. Trainees benefit from teaching placements within our thriving school communities and the opportunity to grow their careers locally.
