The Mulberry Schools Trust is a family of schools that has at its heart inclusion, equality of opportunity and a striving for educational excellence. The Trust was formed following the 50th anniversary of Mulberry School for Girls in 2014/15. Since then, with the support of an extensive network of partners, we have made a positive difference in the lives of thousands of students and their families.
Our flourishing family of schools is united by a commitment to excellence, creativity and continuous improvement. Our schools have a strong record of working collaboratively to share effective practice. They are supported by strong governance, an agile Central Services Team, and a Trust-wide enrichment offer in STEM, the arts and global education.
Each of our schools has its own character, shaped by the needs of its community, but all share the same vision and values. Many of our students face social and economic disadvantage, alongside barriers linked to equality and diversity, and our aim is to change this for every child.
We are proud of the achievements of our students, and the dedication of our staff who support them to succeed.
- We offer an academically rigorous curriculum, including the EBACC, and have a strong culture of high standards in every classroom.
- Our founding school, Mulberry School for Girls, has been judged ‘Outstanding’ in three successive Ofsted inspections.
- Students in our schools make excellent progress and achieve above average in GCSE and A-level examinations.
- Disadvantaged students, who make up more than half of our student body, perform exceptionally well and make progress at the same rate as other students.
