In an exciting and unique opportunity, Year 12 students from the Mulberry STEM Academy spent a week immersed in the fast-paced world of Formula 1, visiting the Mercedes F1 AMG Petronas Factory in Brackley. The one-week residential work experience allowed students to witness first-hand the cutting-edge technology and high-performance engineering behind one of the most successful teams in F1 history.
Throughout the week, the students participated in a series of workshops and hands-on activities, gaining insights into the design, mechanics, and innovation that drives the Mercedes team. They had the chance to work alongside industry professionals, learning about everything from aerodynamics to data analysis and team strategy.
This experience not only offered a valuable glimpse into the world of elite motorsport engineering but also provided inspiration for students to pursue careers in STEM fields. Mulberry STEM Academy continues to provide its students with exceptional opportunities to enhance their learning and broaden their horizons in the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
We even managed to squeeze in some well-deserved R&R, with our students enjoying delicious dinners and a shopping spree at the famous Bicester Village designer outlet!
